Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD."  Jeremiah 17:7

Uncle Oscar was apprehensive about his first airplane ride. His friends, eager to hear how it went, asked if he enjoyed the flight. "Well," commented Uncle Oscar, "it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be, but I'll tell you this. I never did put all my weight down!"Source Unknown.

Do you trust God 100% with your life and the decisions, plans, and purposes He has for you?  Before you give a quick answer to that question, think about any area of your life that doubt creeps in and fear gets it's grip on you.  That's the place where trusting in God has to abide.

The Psalmist penned, "Commit your way to the LORD, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass (Psalm 37:5)."  To commit something is to roll the burden  off of you onto the LORD.  This comes through replacing our thoughts with His thoughts and our worries with prayer (Philippians 4:6-8). 

The Bible tells us to "take every thought captive".  Are you watching your thoughts?  Are you keeping guard of what goes on in the mind?  This is the battlefield my friend.  We will never trust God fully until we watch over our minds.  Blessings on you today!
