Finding The Right Course of Action - Pastor Drew

"Then you will understand what is right, just and fair, and you will know how to find the right course of action every time." Proverbs 2:9
Understanding the right course of action in any given situation is the cry of many hearts. Proverbs chapter 2 gives us a list of prerequisites to finding the right course of action. The following is that list:
1. Listen to God (v.1).
2. Treasure His instructions (v.1).
3. Tune your ears to wisdom (v.1).
4. Concentrate on understanding (v.1).
5. Cry out for insight and understanding (v.2).
6. Search for insight and understanding like lost money or hidden trreasure (v.4).
Following this list will lead you into the fear of the Lord and cause you to gain knowledge of God (v.5). Scripture also promises the person who follows the above example that they will receive knowledge and understanding from the mouth of the Lord because He grants wisdom and a treasure of good sense to the godly (v.6-7).
Tomorrow we will discuss listening to God. My prayer for you today is to hear God's voice clearly and follow Him.
