"Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful." Hebrews 10:23
To hold fast to something is to not let go, to secure, and to keep firm possession of. We are to secure and keep firm possession of our hope without wavering. What has God promised you? Don't let go of it, secure it, for He is faithful and you will see the manifestation of your confession if you don't give up!
Clare Boothe Luce said, "There are no hopeless situations; there are only people who have grown hopeless about them." Your confession is a good indication of whether or not you have given up on hope. What is it that appears to be a hopeless situation for you? Maybe out of this hopeless situation, an answer will come that will help establish your future and destiny? Don't let the dark clouds rob you of believing that the sun will shine again.
Be of good courage today! Keep confessing the hope and dreams God has set before you! Mercy Me has a song called "hold fast". The words go like this - "Hold fast, help is on the way!" I like that, help is on the way! Don't give up friend.
