"Arise, go to Nineveh, that great city, and preach to it the message that I tell you." Jonah 2:2
When most of us hear the name "Jonah" we think of the whale. Due to his disobedience to God, that's where Johah ended up - in the belly of a whale. Sounds far-fetched to the unbeliever who doesn't take God's Word as the absolute truth. Well, it's the truth. My Bible say's it, I believe it.
After Jonah's time of repentance the same word came from the mouth of God-ARISE! When God spoke to men and women in the Bible to arise, He meant - "First things first, get yourself to a higher level". Don't you think it's time to Arise? We arise by making choices that produce life and those choices are ones of obedience.
Jonah arose and saw a rebellious people turn to God. What has Jesus been speaking to your heart? Have you obeyed that still small voice? Have you taken action upon the words He has spoken? If so, you will see life spring forth. If not, the consequences will not be favorable for you and the lives God wants you to impact. You can do it! You can arise!
Friend, ARISE! Make the choices today that will produce a harvest!
